My educational background from a reputable maritime faculty in Turkey has provided me with a strong foundation upon which I have built my analytical and computational skills. With about eight years of seagoing experience as 3rd, 2nd and finally chief officer, I have acquired in-depth knowledge of operations on different types of vessels from a liner roro to crude oil tanker and from a general cargo vessel to a chemical tanker and also handling a wide range of different types of cargos from steel products, grain cargos, coal and ores to cars, trailers on ro/ro vessels and several chemical and petroleum products such as gasoline, benzene, vam, styrene monomer, acn etc. Additionally, I have in-depth knowledge and experience of stability and hull stress calculations, cargo planning, draft survey operations and I participated in plenty of port state control inspections and also vetting inspections regarding to effective and safe management of chemical and petroleum tankers, performed by CDI and major oil companies such as Shell, Bp, Total, Cepsa, Repsol etc. Moreover, my dedication to self study, ability in solving problems, extended and advanced knowledge of commercial aspects of the maritime contracts are indicative of my commitment to hard work, excellent time-management and decision-making abilities.
